NRL move into RDF market

Monday, 22 June 2009

In 2009, Blue Central supplied a bespoke Kiverco recycling plant to their long-standing customer, Nottinghamshire Recycling Limited. Recent developments and a major contract for NRL to provide regular large volumes of RDF material as an environmentally responsible alternative to fossil fuels, meant that a specialist high-volume shredder was required to link to the existing recycling plant for this specific purpose. The RDF is currently being exclusively produced for use in cement manufacture by a well-known global group. Once again, Nottinghamshire Recycling Limited turned to Blue Central for a solution to their needs and, after extensive research and product comparisons, Blue recommended, supplied and installed a Lindner Power Komet 2800 shredder in conjunction with Mach Tech Services, which is now an integral part of the existing recycling plant, generating high-quality RDF as a final and additional process in reclaiming from the landfill material.

The new Lindner Power Komet 2800 is already proving an invaluable addition to the plant in fulfilling Nottinghamshire Recycling's contract for the supply of the high quality RDF; the plant has sufficient "future proof" capacity in hand to increase output as and when required.
