Secure & Sustainable Destruction

Nottinghamshire Recycling under stands the utmost importance in the secure and sustainable disposal of products that are deemed un-suitable for the market place, as the re-appearance of these products back into the market can dramatically compromise the reputation and integrity of your brand. Nottinghamshire Recycling therefore guarantee the sustainable destruction of your products beyond total recognition. Video and picture evidence of the destruction is available with a certificate of guarantee, for the diversion of material away from landfill.

Material diverted from landfill is either sent for recycling or as an alternative fuel, by  always using the most sustainable solutions on the waste hierarchy, NRL reduce the negative effects that the waste has on the environment.  The alternative fuel is known as Solid Recoverable Fuel (SRF), this is predominantly used in cement kilns within the UK, and offers a sustainable alternative by reducing the levels of greenhouse gases emitted and the use of virgin fuels; with every tonne being burnt, 0.7 tonnes of finite coal is saved.

It is of paramount importance to NRL that our customers have complete confidence, that once their waste product is sent for secure destruction and recycling, it is unquestionably what happens.  Part of this is ensuring that the site is completely secure with no risk to product once it is on site at Nottinghamshire Recycling.

24 Hour Security
Our site also has a 24 hour human presence in the form of a constantly manned security guard.

CCTV Coverage

The whole site is monitored by CCTV and all footage is stored digitally. The security has live access to this footage, which allows them to react immediately in the case of a problem.

Nottinghamshire Recycling  can help by providing a “cradle to grave” secure service in both collection and disposal for a range of materials including returned goods, confidential office paperwork and other forms of data, such as electronic media.

Our disposal options are sustainable, using the latest technologies to shred documentation and storage media quickly and efficiently, with full recycling options for the resultant materials and the ability to handle products in bulk, packaged, pallitised and most other forms.
